Will the Boston Celtics get Jayson Tatum back this season?

· 5 min read

In recent weeks, the notion of an in-season return for Jayson Tatum has become the hottest topic within the Boston Celtics fanbase. The All-NBA forward has been cleared for five-on-five work in practice and has been sharing multiple pictures and videos of his progress in the gym. However, when asked about whether he will return to Joe Mazzulla's rotation for the final months of the regular-season, Tatum has remained coy.

After all, the Celtics are second in the Eastern Conference without Tatum. With him, assuming his ramp-up leads him to being at a borderline All-Star level by the playoffs, they could be a major threat in the Eastern Conference.

In a recent video from the "Sporting Logically" YouTube channel, the host shared his belief that Boston will eventually insert Tatum back into their rotation. That is, of course, assuming he's medically cleared and shows limited risk of re-injuring himself once he's on an NBA court.
